In August of 2016, Dr. Lonner was featured on CBS in a segment about a young tennis star named Emiline, whose scoliosis had become her greatest opponent. Fortunately, Dr. Lonner was able to straighten Emiline's spine through a procedure called Vertebral Bother Tethering (VBT), enabling Emiline to get back on the court to pursue her dream of making her high school varsity team.
